Higher order corrections to Z–decay∗
Recent developments in the field of automatic computation of Feynman diagrams using asymptotic expansions are reviewed. The hadronic decay rate of the Z–boson is taken as an example for their physical application.

A final analysis of Jπ = 0+ → 0+ super-allowed Fermi transitions yields |Vud| = 0.9500±0.0007; |Vud|+ |Vus|+ |Vub| = 0.9999±0.0011 with the operational vector coupling constant GV /(h̄c) 3 = (1.15052 ± 0.00021) × 10−5 GeV−2.
متن کاملHigher Order Corrections to the Hadronic Higgs Decay ∗
A Higgs boson in the intermediate mass range is considered. An effective Lagrangian approach is used in order to evaluate the top-induced QCD corrections of order α s to the decay into light quarks and O(α s ) corrections to the gluonic decay mode. The connection to the decoupling relations for αs and the light quark masses is discussed. The Higgs boson is the only still missing particle in the...
متن کاملHigher order QED corrections to muon decay spectrum
Radiative corrections to polarized muon decay spectrum of the second and higher orders in αQED are considered. Leading and next–to–leading logarithmic approximations are used. Exponentiation of soft photons is discussed. The present theoretical uncertainty of the spectrum description is estimated.
متن کاملOn the Higher Order Corrections to Heavy Quark Effective Theory
We show that the different ways of deriving the Heavy Quark Effective Theory (HQET) lead to equivalent theories. The equivalence can be established through a careful redefinition of the field variables. We demonstrate the equivalence to order 1 m in the presence of a constant electric field.
